Becca began teaching English in London in 2005 and has taught in state, private and grammar schools, both UK and International. Becca has a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Language, a PGCE (Secondary English), a MA in English Literature: Shakespeare Studies and a lot of stories to share from every stage.

She loves woolly jumpers, stomping around in the woods with her three little boys and the magic of live theatre.

Becca is also a fully qualified Level Three Forest School Leader and has just opened a new Forest School in her local town, along with friend and fellow Forest School Leader: Wild Kites Forest School.

After a first career in Finance, Amal has taught Mathematics in the UK since 2008,  becoming Diploma Coordinator and Deputy Principal of a leading IB world school in the UK. 

Amal founded 5 Kites to share his passion for Education and the International Baccalaureate, beyond his school pupils. 

Amal has a MSC (Hons) in Engineering and a PGCE (Secondary Maths) with Teach First.  Amal also teaches GCSE and A-Level.

He loves scuba diving, woodwork, rugby and singing very loudly in the car, joined by the chorus of his young family.

Laura began teaching Spanish and Philosophy in London in 2008. She has been Head of Modern Foreign Languages since 2015 and loves teaching Spanish and Ethics. 

Laura has a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages, a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, and a  TEFL degree. She also holds a Postgraduate in Art Criticism.

Laura enjoys time with her family, singing, painting, and dancing with her two young children. She has a passion for the arts, exploring new places and learning about different cultures.

Ismail studied Maths AA, Physics and Chemistry at Higher Level in the IB.

He is currently studying Automotive Engineering at the University of Surrey, where he is part of the Formula Student team and Engineers Without Borders society.

After university, he hopes to pursue a career in Formula 1 or the automotive industry. Ismail enjoys reading philosophy and watching political commentators online, primarily though he is always excited for race weekends in Formula 1.​

Harriet began teaching English in London in 2006 and has taught in UK private and state schools including grammar schools.

She has a BA (hons) in English Literature and Language, an MPhil in Renaissance Literature and a PhD in Seventeenth-Century Science Writing.

She enjoys running, paddleboarding, crafting and local history, and volunteering in nature education.

​Max is a recent graduate of the IB Diploma, where he studied Maths AI, Physics and Economics at Higher Level. He is currently studying Social Sciences and Data Science at University College London (UCL), where he intends to join the Data Science Society and Consulting Society. After university, he aims to pursue a career in finance or consulting. Max enjoys playing basketball regularly and loves to watch football games, specifically cheering on Tottenham.

Nicola completed the IBDP in 2021 with Biology, Chemistry, and Geography as her Higher Level subjects. She is currently a second year student studying BSc Pharmacology (Hons) in King's College London (KCL) and holds the following leadership positions: President of TEDxKingsCollegeLondon, Vice President of the KCL Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology society, Team Leader and Instructor of KCL iGEM, and a Committee Member of SynBio UK. In her free time, Nicola loves to cook, swim, sing, and read!

Priya is an IB graduate who studied Maths AI, Physics and Geography at Higher Level IB.  She is currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bath, where she is a member of the Women in Engineering Society and the Engineers Without Borders Society.  She is also a STEM Ambassador, volunteering in local schools to promote an interest in STEM.

After university, she hopes to pursue a career in energy and sustainability.  

Priya loves reading sci-fi, fantasy and poetry; she can answer (almost) any question on Harry Potter and enjoys baking cakes.

Jonathan is an IB graduate who studied Maths AA, Physics, Chemistry, and Economics as HL subjects in the IBDP, while also obtaining course certificates in HL Maths and Further Maths.

He is reading Computer Science at the University of Cambridge; he is in the university’s varsity ice hockey team and rows for Christ’s College.

He tutors maths at various levels and loves to share his passion for the subject.  

Jonathan also enjoys tennis, card games, and home-made pizza.

Karen graduated from the IBDP in 2021, having taken Biology, Chemistry and Psychology as her higher level subjects. She is currently in her second year studying Medicine at the University of St Andrews, where she is part of the university’s Mountaineering Club and the Surgical Society.

Within medicine, she has a special interest in the fields of obstetrics and surgery but is excited to explore new areas as her course progresses. In her free time, Karen likes to climb, hike, cook and watch films.
